Gluttonery - New
!!!!
For me it is a
source of pride to present to you the new proposal for Conceta´s Project
(School of Government of Zafary), it will be a process of memory construction
from our visual, audiovisual, graphic, textual and sound archive, trying to
give an attractive format that facilitates its dissemination and circulation.
Taking advantage of the latest workshops of the Cinemateca Rodante training
program, we will do our best to give structure to these contents and I would
like to demarcate this starting point so that later its evolution can be
compared over time.

Project Title:
Gluttonery.

Justification:
It is a project
that starts from an emotional justification, I have been working for 24 years,
images, drawn, fixed, moving, three-dimensional, and I was very young
photographer and videographer, I like photojournalism that consists of hot
capturing a moment or event and demands a good physical preparation, the center
of the body's balance is the navel, and it requires strength in the legs,
breath control and precision in the movements of the cameraman, to anticipate
what is in front of the lens so as not to trip over obstacles in space and
intuit the following that the moving object that interested us will do next to
get the picture we are looking for. It implies knowledge of the work equipment
that does not necessarily consist of having the latest technology at hand, I
got used to work with natural light like Cubans and to build stories with the
power of the school billboard. I like the immediacy of telecommunications to
share images and I have taken good advantage of free software, the important
thing is to be clear about the objective of what we want to communicate and
what impact we want to achieve on an audience. It implies knowledge in
semiotics for the construction of robust concepts and I try to keep alive my
performance and happening practice to provoke, encourage, encourage groups of
people to get moving.
From time to time,
I have presented health problems and I have been losing my sight, now I wear
two glasses, reading and looking away and it becomes a complication when
handling equipment. I did not drive again, I like speed, and I have presented
mild epilepsy symptoms that are still incapacitating, I simply no longer have
control of my physiology. Then I thought about the idea of getting the
kernells of my eyes out to lend to my children as a legacy, what would I have
to look at in the world? And I know that I suffer from the evil of gluttony, I
have a gluttonous eye and the other also ... and that looking has a method and
demands a practice. Since I am not able for the workshop to rescue all my
visual memory for the design of a preservation project, I will do it for
deliveries, they suggest me in the workshop that for a period of 3 years ...
ok! I start! And for this first proposal the question would be… How much can
you eat at a year? And I will segment the content available from the moments
before this conjecture, second semester 2018, to today, we will have to
demonstrate technical expertise in audiovisual!

These are my
children exercising. Registration during the period of Miraculous Pescas in my
country.
My friend, actress
Ximena Flórez, builds a setting for casting and teaser in the manner of German
expressionism based on the written instructions I sent her about a script for
short films.
I got upset with
Uribe, there is no one who understands this way to record the performance and
publish it on the Internet. It is a language of only viscera! Expressionist and
punk.
It is about
breaking with all the image and sound codes to emphasize problems with
education and adaptation to society.

that I have for my children with their homeschooling program, after comparing
the scopes of the waldorf method we decided that the punk methodology was more
appropriate to our time as a family. There is no possible transaction.
Para mí es un motivo de orgullo presentar a ustedes la nueva propuesta para Conceta´s Project (Escuela de Gobierno de Zafary), será un proceso de construcción de memoria a partir de nuestro archivo visual, audiovisual, gráfico, textual y sonoro, procurando darle un formato atractivo y que facilite su divulgación y circulación. Aprovechando los últimos talleres del programa de formación de Cinemateca Rodante, haremos lo posible por darle estructura a estos contenidos y quisiera demarcar este punto de inicio para que luego se pueda comparar su evolución en el tiempo.

De la producción a la preservación
audiovisual
Título del Proyecto: Gluttonery.

Justificación:
Se trata de un proyecto que parte de
una justificación emocional, llevo 24 años trabajando imágenes,
dibujadas, fijas, en movimiento, tridimensionales, y fuí de jóven
muy buena fotógrafa y videógrafa, me gusta el fotoperiodismo que
consiste en capturar en caliente un momento o suceso y exige una
buena preparación física, el centro del equilibrio del cuerpo es el
ombligo, y requiere de fuerza en las piernas, control de la
respiración y precisión en los movimientos del camarógrafo,
preveer lo que está al frente del lente para no tropezar con
obstáculos en el espacio e intuir lo siguiente que el objeto en
movimiento que nos interesó hará a continuación para obtener la
fotografía que buscamos. Implica conocimiento del equipo de trabajo
que no necesariamente consiste en tener a la mano lo último en
tecnología, me acostumbré a trabajar con la luz natural como los
cubanos y a construir relatos con la potencia de la cartelera
escolar. Me gusta la inmediatez de las telecomunicaciones para
compartir imágenes y he sacado buen partido del software libre, lo
importante es tener claro el objetivo de lo que queremos comunicar y
qué impacto queremos lograr sobre un público. Implica conocimiento
en semiótica para la construcción de conceptos robustos y procuro
mantener viva mi práctica performática y de happening para
provocar, impulsar, animar a grupos de gente a ponerse en movimiento.
De un tiempo a acá, he presentado problemas de salud y he estado
perdiendo la vista, ahora uso dos gafas, las de lectura y las de
mirar de lejos y se vuelve un complique a la hora de manipular
equipos. No volví a conducir, me gusta la velocidad, y he presentado
cuadros de epilepsia leve que no dejan de ser incapacitantes,
sencillamente ya no tengo control de mi fisiología. Pensé entonces
en la idea de sacarme las pepas de los ojos para prestárselas a mis
hijos a modo de legado, ¿qué habría por mirar en el mundo?, y se
que sufro del mal de la glotonería, tengo un ojo glotón y el otro
también … y que mirar tiene un método y exige una práctica. Dado
que no alcanzo para el taller a rescatar toda mi memoria visual para
el diseño de un proyecto de preservación, voy a hacerlo por
entregas, me sugieren en el taller que por un lapso de 3 años …
vale! arranco! Y para esta primera propuesta la pregunta sería …
¿Qué tanto puedes comer en un año? Y voy a segmentar por el
contenido disponible desde los momentos previos a esta conjetura,
segundo semestre 2018, a hoy, habrá que demostrar pericia técnica
en audiovisual!

Mi amiga la actriz Ximena Flórez
construye una puesta para casting y teaser a la manera del
expresionismo alemán a partir de las indicaciones escritas que le
envié sobre un guión para cortometraje.
Me levanté molesta con Uribe, no hay
quien entienda ésta manera de registrar el performance y publicarlo
en iinternet. Es un lenguaje de solo vísceras! Expresionista y punk.
Se trata de romper con todos los
códigos de la imagen y el sonido para enfatizar problemas con la
educación y la adaptación a la sociedad.
Controvertir sobre el rol de la mujer,
mortificar, corromper, no dejarse poseer.
Y ésta es una página que les tengo a
mis hijos con su programa de homeschooling, luego de comparar los
alcances del método waldorf decidimos que la metodología punk era
más adecuada a nuestro momento como familia. No hay transacción
posible.
Como resultado, mi hija Catalina Villa
Galvis, 14 años, desarrolla este video que este año participa en
las convocatorias del FICCI y yo no. Semana tras semana desde que nos
separamos cuando ella tenía 3 años, yo le envío su materialito
para que lo vaya desarrollando, cartillas y procesos de Cinemateca
Rodante incluidos. Tengo todo un catálogo de fotos, selfish y videos
realizados por ella. Éste lo editó en Avid.
Se me ocurre hacer algo con los
muchachos, todo esto necesita imágenes.

Una foto sensible de mi
hermano ingeniero de su hijo Santiago. Creo que tengo la capacidad de
sacar lo mejor de las personas y llevarlos a sus máximos niveles de
desempeño.No es qué tan diferentes seamos, es el afecto lo que nos
construye.
